About Us

We are a unique live aboard marina in the heart of the Florida Keys!

Harbour Cay Club (HCC) is a piece of Marathon history, going back to the days just after World War II, when Bill and Ethel Thompson started their famous fishing camp on this spot. The property is now a private marina organized as a not-for-profit Florida corporation composed of owners who live aboard their boats. The corporation has 24 shares; each share allows the exclusive use of one dock space in the marina (subject to the Bylaws) and represents an investment in the property.

HCC is a private club for use by Members and Associate Members. Members are equity owners of the corporation shares. Associate Members are those who are interested in the water and boating, will be an active participant in the activities of HCC and have paid the annual Associate Member fee.

HCC comprises nearly an acre and a half and includes a beautiful tidal pool with a perimeter mangrove pathway, small boat basin, launch ramp, and fish cleaning station. Dock spaces range in size from 41' to 71' accommodating both power and sail boats. Each dock space has separately metered water and electricity (30/50 amp), and is within easy reach of a pumpout riser. If you are interested, please see our Slips for Sale page.

Since our marina is owned and operated by the boaters who reside here, our amenities are geared toward our live aboard lifestyle. We are not a commercial marina but an adult community of boaters and, as such, we can concentrate on the beauty of our tropical paradise.
